Tolkien Society AGM

I have just agreed to give the after-dinner talk at the Tolkien Society AGM on 21st April in Glasgow.

Maybe the afternoon? I intend to go to the lunch, but then I'm free for a few hours.

Do you by any chance know if I can get a train direct from Glasgow Airport to Edinburgh (the city)

The nearest train station is Gilmour Street in Paisley, which is a couple of miles away, and I think it only runs to Glasgow Central.

I know that the airport runs a bus service to station, but you'd possibly just be as well getting the bus that runs into the city and drops you near Central/Queen Street for a direct train into Edinburgh.
